Godzilla Case Studies : Studying different compositions using Godzilla as the subject.
Album Cover Redesigns : Series of album covers for King Gnu, a Japanese rock band.
Aquatic Predator Satire Movies : A poster created to promote movie night with a series of shark parody movies that can fold into a brochure.
‍WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE : An experimental movie poster that encompasses the movie.
‍RISE TO THE CROWN : A magazine covering the Japanese band, King Gnu.
‍Trade Gothic Specimen : A 14 page specimen to showcase the beauty of the typeface Trade Gothic using the movie Malcolm X as the subject.

Final Thoughts

These projects were a stepping stone for the work I do today. I originally was a graphic designer, then ultimately changed my career path to UX design, however, these works showcase my creativity in visual design which did help me become the UX designer I am. I learned a lot about type with what typefaces to choose, tracking, kerning, widows, headings, placement, body paragraph lengths, contrast, etc.
